Become One of 100 City Changers
Big Tree is looking for people who are willing to take responsibility for the renewal of Spokane.

A city does not change only because someone has a vision. It changes when people step forward.
Big Tree is looking for 100 people in Spokane who are willing to pray, think, connect, build, and take responsibility where they are. You do not need to know exactly what your role is yet. You only need to be willing to begin.
Some will host conversations.
Some will build relationships.
Some will lead in business, education, churches, neighborhoods, or public life.
Some will simply help where help is needed.
Together, we want to become a growing circle of people who care enough about the city to act.
What is a City Changer?
A City Changer is someone who believes Spokane can become healthier, more hopeful, and more rooted in faith, responsibility, unity, and visible good.
This is not about having a title. It is not about joining a perfect program. It is about becoming available.
A City Changer asks:
Where has God placed me?What do I see that needs attention?Who can I strengthen, connect, or encourage? What fruit could begin to grow through my life, work, and relationships?
Partner with Big Tree
Big Tree is not built by one organization alone. A city changes when many people, leaders, churches, businesses, and organizations begin to take responsibility where God has placed them.
A Big Tree Partner is a business, church, nonprofit, ministry, or organization that identifies with the vision of seeing Christ become visible again in the key branches of city life.
Partners contribute in different ways. Some practice the FRUIT Challenge in their own leadership and culture. Some strengthen one branch of city life. Some support gatherings, communication, youth initiatives, or city-wide conversations. Others provide resources, volunteers, space, professional skills, or financial support.
Partnership is not just about placing a logo on a website. It is about shared responsibility and visible fruit.
A partner asks:
Where are we already producing good fruit?
Where do we need to grow?
Where can our organization serve the city more faithfully?
How can our influence reflect faith, responsibility, unity, inspiration, and transformation?
Big Tree is currently building its first circle of founding partners in Spokane. We are looking for organizations that want to help this vision take root and grow.
Become a Big Tree Partner.
Three Ways to Begin
1. Sit at the Table
Once a month, a small group meets in Spokane to talk honestly about the future of the city — and what it would take to rebuild its foundations.
This is not a public event. It is a space for thoughtful conversation, trust, and shared responsibility.
Some join for a first conversation. Others continue to build what starts there.
Best for:
People who want to understand the vision, meet others, and begin with conversation.
2. Lead Where It Matters
Business is not just economic activity. It shapes culture and influences the long-term direction of a city.
Kingdom City Builders brings together business leaders who want to build based on Christian faith, responsibility, and long-term impact — not only for success, but for the good of the city.
This is a space for those who take leadership seriously and want their work to reflect something greater.
Best for:
Business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, and leaders who want their faith to become visible through leadership, culture, and responsibility.
3. Take Responsibility Where You Are
A city changes when people take responsibility in their area of influence.
Big Tree is not built by a few, but by many who are willing to step in where they are.
You may care about families, youth, business, churches, media, arts, health, public safety, or neighborhoods. You may not know yet exactly what your role is. That is okay.
Tell us where you feel called to contribute, and we will help you find your place.
Best for:
Anyone who wants to help build Big Tree, serve Spokane, or join the growing circle of City Changers.
Tell Us Where You Want to Begin
You do not need to have everything figured out. Start by telling us where you feel most connected or where you would like to help.
