About Big Tree City

Our Vision

To see Christ become visible again in the key branches of city life.

Who We Are

Big Tree is a faith-driven movement in Spokane.
We bring together families, churches, businesses, volunteers and community leaders
to rebuild the spiritual, relational and practical foundations of our city.
We believe that Spokane’s greatest strength is its people —
and that God can use simple acts of faith, honesty and love
to transform an entire community over time.
Big Tree is not an organization you join.
It’s a movement you grow with.

Meet Our Team

Big Tree is led by a team of believers who love Spokane and are committed to building relationships across churches, neighborhoods and workspaces.

Why We Chose a Tree

Jesus compared God’s Kingdom to a tiny mustard seed that grows into a great tree where birds can rest and find shelter.

A tree expresses what Spokane needs:

  • Roots — identity, faith, truth
  • Trunk — integrity, strength, character
  • Branches — opportunity, generosity, community
  • Shade — safety, rest, belonging
  • Fruit — transformed lives

This picture guides everything we do.

Let’s Grow Something Together

Whether you run a business, lead a church, raise a family, or simply care about Spokane — we would love to hear your story and explore how we can partner for the good of our city.
If you’re not ready for a personal conversation yet, you’re warmly invited to join one of our monthly Big Tree Gatherings. These meetings — online and in-person — provide a simple, relational space to connect with others, hear updates, share ideas, and pray for Spokane.
